Having more children could slow aging

In the journal PLOS One, researchers reveal that women who had more children had longer telomeres than women who had fewer children.

Telomeres are caps at the end of each DNA strand that protect our chromosomes - thread-like structures that contain all our genetic information - from damage.

Each time a cell replicates, telomeres become shorter. They eventually become so short that they stop protecting chromosomes, leaving them vulnerable to damage, which in turn causes our cells to age and stop functioning effectively.

Previously, animal studies have supported the "life history theory," suggesting that higher reproductive behavior is associated with accelerated biological aging.

However, this latest study, led by Prof. Pablo Nepomnaschy and Cindy Barha - both of Simon Fraser University in Canada - contradicts this theory.

Oh wow, this article really hits home! We just put our house on the market, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s better to do small updates like new hardware on cabinets or just deep clean everything and let buyers imagine the possibilities http://raindrop.io/theredbzbb/bookmarks-63360717

Great points on the impact of manufacturing automation! I totally agree that the ROI angle is crucial, but from our experience, the real challenge often lies in the human factor http://www.video-bookmark.com/user/hronoufpvm

    1.
Just got the Hayati Pro Max and honestly, the pod life is impressive. I’ve tried a bunch of disposable vapes and this one lasts way longer than most. The flavor stays pretty consistent from first puff to last, which is kinda rare imo http://atavi.com/share/xk6hibz1edbk2

    1. Mate, I’m absolutely gutted about this disposable ban. Saw some dodgy vapes being sold openly down my local – like, no one’s policing it! How’s that meant to keep us safe? Feels like the law’s just pushing it underground. Proper dodgy, honestly.
