Having more children could slow aging

In the journal PLOS One, researchers reveal that women who had more children had longer telomeres than women who had fewer children.

Telomeres are caps at the end of each DNA strand that protect our chromosomes - thread-like structures that contain all our genetic information - from damage.

Each time a cell replicates, telomeres become shorter. They eventually become so short that they stop protecting chromosomes, leaving them vulnerable to damage, which in turn causes our cells to age and stop functioning effectively.

Previously, animal studies have supported the "life history theory," suggesting that higher reproductive behavior is associated with accelerated biological aging.

However, this latest study, led by Prof. Pablo Nepomnaschy and Cindy Barha - both of Simon Fraser University in Canada - contradicts this theory.

    In actuality, the large majority of questions are considerably more elaborate than a casual viewer may possibly determine, based on their vantagepoint.
    I'm not thinking that I happen to be a professional on this question being outlined, thus I estimate it's for
    different community forum participants to keep in mind.
    I am definitely not striving to make difficulties or be unacceptable.
    Alternatively, I recognize from experience that this could be the situation.
    I practice Postnatal Massage Therapy, and in my own personal selected concentration, I experience
    it very much. Just-graduated Postnatal Massage Practitioners are more likely to exaggerate promises;
    which may be, these individuals don't at this point absolutely
    grasp the limitations of their own "scope of practice," and consequently they
    may possibly come up with comments that are too general when conversing with clients.
    It's the same phenomenon; they have been introduced to a theme, don't fully
    understand the thorough level of it, and now take for granted they are the Authorities.
